AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA

Amarone. It is produced from the same grapes as a standard Valpolicella wine, but made extra special with a unique wine-making process called ‘Appasimento’. This technique involves selected, premium grapes slowly drying for 3 or 4 months in lofts until they lose a third of their weight. Only then are they crushed, producing a deliciously concentrated and rich ruby wine.
